Before we get into these tasty tactics, let’s first take a step back and remember why we’re doing this in the first place.

The goal is to get people to visit our website so we can solve their problems, see our ads, and buy our product or service, right? So why not spend a ton of money on advertising?

Turns out there are a few reasons.

Advertising can be expensive and doesn’t always reach the right audience. Also, people are increasingly immune to this type of advertising and tend to ignore it completely.

Also, it is not sustainable.

You must continue to pay for traffic month after month. There are much better ways.

3 Ways To Get Traffic to Your Website Without Social Media

There are at least three good ways to drive traffic to your website without posting a hundred times a day on social media.

Here are three tactics that work best for me.

Be a Blogging Guerilla

As a small business, you can’t waste your time and hard-earned money on marketing strategies that just don’t work. You have to be scrappy and go for the jugular.

What does this mean?

Basically, you need to find the areas where your competitors are vulnerable and attack.

For example, let’s say you are in the SEO business. Your competitor is a large company with a huge website and an army of copywriters churning out content. They go after the top keywords and are doing a good job.

But what they lack is the long tail.

They don’t focus on the smaller, more specific keywords that people are searching for online. This is where you can attack.

By focusing on these smaller keywords, you can drive traffic to your website without breaking the bank. You can use your size to your advantage. You can move quickly and easily between your largest competitors and attack when they least expect it.

Long-tail keywords are found by looking for search phrases with four or more words.
